Bio-Fuel Tax Credit Saves New Yorkers Money
New York home owners have enough to worry about. Terrorism is constantly on the front pages. The environmental impact of our economy is in constant debate. Meanwhile, the cost of heating your home these days can be staggering. You may already be looking at a $1000 monthly heating bill. However, New York State is giving homeowners a local solution to all these issues. Homeowners can get tax credits for using a clean burning energy source called Bio-Fuel, produced right here in our own country.
Biodiesel is a domestically-produced, low emissions renewable fuel that is produced by blending traditional petroleum diesel fuel with vegetable oils, recycled cooking grease, or animal fats.
New York State signed an Executive Order in 2005 to promote the use of clean and renewable fuels to help to reduce our dependence on imported fuels, and also stimulate private sector investment in the creation of an indigenous, renewable fuel supply. Plus now they are paying homeowners in the form of tax credits to try it.
Local manufacturers are creating a Bio-fuel and petroleum blend, and offering homeowners the product. They say that it is better for the environment because it is made from renewable resources and has lower emissions compared to petroleum diesel. It is less toxic than table salt and biodegrades as fast as sugar. Since it is made in the USA from renewable resources such as soybeans, its use decreases our dependence on foreign oil and contributes to our own economy.

If you currently use oil, you can switch to a bio-fuel blend and get a home heating system tax credit and a clean heating fuel tax credit for as much as 20% of your oil bill. A 20% savings on heat, using a cleaner product made in America! For information about local bio-deisel suppliers, or where to apply for your tax credit just…. Ask Rey.
