Child ID Program - Thank You Masons
If you have children in your life that you know and care about, then you will want to know about the Masons Child ID Program (CHIP). As a great service to the community, the Masons have gotten together with law enforcement to develop a quick and easy way of providing data for law enforcement for lost or missing children. According to all law enforcement, the first 24 hours is critical to recover lost or missing children. This is where CHIP helps.
If you bring your child in, CHIP will record photo or video images of the child, fingerprints, dental impressions, and soon to be added DNA oral swabs. All of the identification materials are given to the children's parents in a CD to store until they may be needed by police. The Masons do not keep any of the identification materials for the children or personal information of the parents. If your child is lost or stolen, you can give them the tools they need to recover your child in those critical 24 hours.
The program started in New York and over 225,000 children have been served so far. Houlihan Lawrence is teaming up with the Masons to bring to program to the Gramatan Ave Fair in Mount Vernon on Sunday, September 14th. If you bring your child to the office at 550 Gramatan Ave in Mount Vernon, the Masons will process your child and give you an Identification CD right there.
When: Sunday, September 14th
Where: Houlihan Lawrence Booth, 550 Gramatan Ave, Mount Vernon NY 10552
